Hide and Seek

Here I will hide,

Surrounded by four bumpy walls,

One purple, three white.

With my soft blankets,

And my used books

(far passed that new book spell.)

Here I will hide,

From everything and everyone.

Maybe I’ll pass the time by

Reading those books, taking a nap,

Feeling the four popcorn walls.

I would be happy,

If I never had to open that door again.

It’s safe to say I could spend an eternity here.

In my room, safe and secure,

With its four popcorn walls,

One painted purple, three...
