City Council Begins the Selection for new Superintendent

By any criteria, Roseau City Superintendent David Drown is not an old man.

He's big, he's tough, and he's retiring on December 31.

All of this has resulted in a search to replace Mr. Drown with a person who can step in and do the job of managing the city workers, which no one has to crack a whip to get them motivated.

Mr. Drown has a very capable crew of self-starters.

Last week, Roseau City Council Member Brady Johnson discussed the progress of replacing Mr. Drown.

"We received 13 applications. This is a monumental and important position in the city."
