The sound of rain

Sitting at home or school

Looking out the window

I can smell and hear the rain

Hearing the cars in the rain is relaxing

Being able to have some coffee and watching the rain fall is calming

Hearing it fall onto my window while I watch tv

Or listening while I fall asleep

Knowing it will help the grass

Or helping the crop makes me happy about the rain

Going outside to feel the cold drops on my face

Wondering how long it will stay

Knowing it will leave soon

Hoping the ground won’t flood...
