Paramedic Toni Pederson Airlifted To Fargo

It all happened so quickly. On the afternoon of Thursday, November 16, Toni Pederson was on her way to her job as a paramedic with Bemidji Ambulance, where she’s been employed for eight years. Toni was just passing the S curve sign north of Waskish, when a deer ran out on Highway #72 in front of her GMC Acadia.
“I had just hit a deer in May or June and didn’t want to hit another one,” explains Toni. “I swerved and my back tire hit loose gravel. When I tried to correct it, my tire then hit a pothole and my vehicle got sucked into the ditch.
