Roseau- John passed away on March 15th at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, N.D. after a brief battle of Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

John Carl Wahlberg was born on March 16th, 1942 to Carl and Hazel (Dornfeld) Wahlberg in Roseau. He grew up and and attended school in Roseau. He attended college at the University of Minnesota and graduated with a degree in Pharmacy. While attending school he met Mavis Berwald and they were married on August 14, 1965 and had three girls, Susan, Sally and Sarah. After graduation, John and Mavis purchased Fikkan's Pharmacy in Roseau and added a gift and jewelry store. Ev...
