Roseau- Mavis Brandt of Roseau passed away on March 11, 2024 at LifeCare Medical Center in Roseau at the age of 79.

Mavis Lorraine Brandt was born on November 24, 1944, to Clarence and Edith (Boen) Sonsteng in Roseau. Mavis grew up in Falun Township and attended school in Salol before graduating from Roseau High School in 1962. After graduation she worked various jobs in the community. On June 25, 1971 Mavis and Clayton Brandt were married in Roseau and they had two children Mike and Todd.
