They said that before I had even begun

A - All I wanted was an education

All they wanted was deprivation

L - Little did they know what I could do

They had no idea, the strength of my truth

A - After I had started I couldn't stop

Then they realized they weren't on top

L - I kept speaking to be free

Even when they targeted me

A - After all was said and done

They will know who really won...
