Roseau emerged as a Finalist in the Cenex Smalltown Throwdown Contest, Competing for the coveted $100,000 Grand Prize.

In an exhilarating turn of events, the small but mighty community of Roseau has been selected as one of the top three finalists in the esteemed Cenex Smalltown Throwdown Contest. This nationwide competition celebrates the essence of small-town pride and the unique events that define the heart and soul of small communities across America.

After submitting the City of Roseau Fall Festival video application in December, Roseau's Promotions Director, received the thrilling news that their town had soared to the finals, vying for the grand prize of $100,000.

Roseau's distinctive character shines through its vibrant community events, from lively festivals to cherished local traditions. From the annual Hotdish Competition to pro wrestling, kids' straw maze, and micro -brew festival, the small-town events are sure to entertain. The event takes place the first week in October."

Now, as the town stands on the brink of potentially securing the grand prize, the spotlight turns to the nation as citizens across America are called upon to cast their votes to support Roseau's victory bid.

The voting phase will open on April 15 and run through May 15. It's an opportunity for every American to rally behind Roseau, demonstrating the power of unity and showcasing the immense pride that small towns evoke.
