Filing has begun for elective offices

It's now the official time to file for elective office in Roseau County if you want to run for state, county or local government.
This past Tuesday, Martie Monsrud, the Roseau County Auditor, explained the procedure and the fees for running for each elective office.
To file for state and county offices, please visit her office at the Roseau County Courthouse.
"The filing fee is $100 for State Senator District 1 and State Representative District 1A," she said, adding that the filing fee is $300 for the 9th Judicial District.
Judge Donna Dixon is up for reelection, which is a six-year term.
