Move over, Loretta Lynn, and make room for Gabrielle "Gabby" Johnson, a dynamo Roseau 8th grader who can belt out the lyrics.
Just last week, she won the Little Kicker Contest at Jon's Bar & Grill in Halma, Minnesota.
She was 13 when she entered the preliminaries at the same bar on Friday, April 9, for 10 to 13 year-olds.
"Gabby just turned 14," said her dad, Harvey Johnson, earlier this week, adding that she's been singing nonstop since she was a little girl and has taken voice lessons from Kaci Douglas in Roseau.
The little lass is a singer.
Now, here comes the kicker.
