Free eats at open house at roseau city park

 

From 4 to 7 p.m. this coming Tuesday, June 7, the Roseau Park Board is hoping for a great turnout so they can showcase what should be a great draw for kids and families in the City of Roseau.

"We're trying to highlight our plans for South Riverview Park, which used to be known as the Lions Park next to the fire hall," said Brad Bassingthwaite, a park board member.

"The main thing is to highlight the fundraising campaign for the splash pad," he said. "It's like a water park but without a pool."

What is in the works could be the Disneyland of northwestern Minnesota if everything works out.
