Hello, my name is Naaman. Well not really it is David, but Naaman is someone I can relate to and I bet some of you can relate to him as well.

In the Bible, 2 Kings chapter 5 and verse 1 we are introduced to this guy named Naaman. This one verse tells us that he was a commander, a great man and was highly regarded. He had won victories and was a valiant soldier. WOW! If we stop right there that sounds pretty good. Who among us wouldn't like to have that type of resume? I know I sure would. The problem is there is more to the verse. The last line says, “but he had leprosy.”
