FORMER DEPUTY SHERIFF PLEADS GUILTY

 


A series of incidents, which began last deer season and escalated this past February when then Roseau County Deputy Sheriff Joshua McGurran Olson committed criminal damage to the property of a cabin north of Salol, has been litigated.

Mr. Olson pled guilty on Thursday, June 9, in Thief River Falls to felony first degree criminal damage to property.

He was sentenced by Judge Kurt Marben to a stayed sentence of five years in prison and must complete a number of stipulations during that time.
