Roseau - Ann Zeidlik passed away in Roseau on July 5, 2016.

Ann was born July 2, 1925 on her parent’s farm in Thief Lake Township, Marshall County, Minnesota. She was born to Peter and Caroline (Lis) Cwikla and lived on the family farm until 1932 when they moved to another farmstead in the area. Ann was the 7th child of a family of 10 children.

She went to first grade at Shady Nook School in Como Township and later attended Washington School until 1939. She grew up on a farm with no big farm equipment, no electricity and no running water. Kerosene lanterns were used to do housework and...
