Here I was in Warroad on Monday afternoon for the Fourth of July parade, and a number of stiffs running for political office rode by in vintage vehicles and waved to the crowd like the pope giving out his blessings.

Which is tired old stuff.

And then here came Fabian, hopping out of a vehicle being driven by his wife, and he began patting little kids on the head, handing out campaign stickers, and enjoying himself.
