Ian Larsen Pleads Guilty to Felony Assault

A week ago Monday, July 25, in Courtroom One at the Roseau County Courthouse with Judge Donna Dixon presiding, Ian Lee Larsen, 25, pled guilty to 3rd degree assault for punching out Jacob Brateng at Springsteel Resort on Saturday evening, June 4.
He will be sentenced on Monday, August 29, in Courtroom One.
He now stands convicted of a felony after the plea agreement involving the bar brawl between the two friends after Mr. Larsen had shoved his mother, Missy Larsen.
Mr. Brateng interceded and was seriously injured as he suffered a fractured skull and eye socket.
