Here's why there were so many smiles last Friday evening during the 21st Roseau County Relay for Life at the Roseau City Park.

They've all survived a car wreck.

Everyday there are car wrecks in life, most notably out on America's roadways. But the exceptions are the car wrecks inside doctors' offices when the patients learn they have cancer.

Last Friday evening, it was a time to celebrate being alive, being another year older, being with family and friends, and being honored.
