Head coach George Ziegler is smiling a little more this year, thanks to the bigger turnout.

"The numbers are good, and we've got 43 players right now and will be getting two more shortly," he said this earlier week.

Another big plus for the Rams is the quarterback situation.

"It looks nice because we have four quarterbacks, one from each grade, and we've never had that before," he said, adding that the competition is good and that it improves the practices.

"We will wait until after Saturday's scrimmage in Bagley to decide on our starting quarterback for the first game," he said.
