Roseau County Sheriff's Office Press Release ATV Accident

On May 18, 2024 at approximately 2:14 p.m., the Roseau County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch received an emergency call of an ATV accident on 280th Street near the intersection of 670th Ave, west of the city of Roosevelt.

The driver, 45 year-old Paul Eddie Arveson of Thief River Falls, was westbound on 280th St. when his ATV left the road to the north and collided with a tree.

Arveson was pronounced dead at the scene.

Law Enforcement along with the Warroad Fire Dept., Warroad Rescue Ambulance, and North Memorial Air Ambulance responded to the scene.
