The Roseau Girls' Tennis team hit the ground running at the beginning of the season. The team capped the first week of practice with the 3rd annual North/South Challenge Quad in Park Rapids on Friday, August 19th. The tournament featured two teams from last year's State Tournament, Minnewaska and Crookston, and two Class AA teams, Mound-Westonka and Thief River Falls. The Rams played well against strong competition. They beat Aitkin 7 – 0 before losing to Pine City 6 – 1 and Mound-Westonka 5 – 2. Pine City was the overall team champion, while Thief River Falls was the top North team....
