CEO of Central Boiler/Altoz

Dennis Brazier

It's not every day in Northern Minnesota when one of your locals receives an award that is most recognized among the elite of entrepreneurs. Dennis Brazier, CEO of Central Boiler/Altoz, was recently named as a winner of the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Award in the Upper Midwest.

"EY has had a tremendous history in honoring outstanding entrepreneurs during the past 30 years," said Todd Papa, EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Program Director for the Upper Midwest. "This year's winners have not only taken their companies to the top, but they have also acted as mentors to their employees and made impressive contributions to their communities."

The award winners were recently published in the August 2016 issue of Twin Cities Business Magazine which included a segment highlighting Brazier's award and Central Boiler/Altoz business.

Brazier is not only notable for building the Central Boiler/Altoz business; the Brazier family is extremely supportive of surrounding communities and organizations. Born and raised in Greenbush, they're deeply rooted with hometown pride and the success of Northern Minnesota.

"We are proud of his accomplishments and dedication to Greenbush and surrounding communities. How better to recognize these accomplishments than by following their lead; it's a way of paying forward the good initiated by the Brazier's," said Robert Hager, CEO of Border State Bank.

In honor of Brazier's accomplishments, Border State Bank is donating $2000 to Reach Out For Warmth (ROFW) through Northwest Community Action in Badger. The ROFW financial assistance program is a community based emergency fuel fund established to assist households whose income is currently over the levels needed for the Energy Assistance program.
