How many of us work 44 years for the same outfit, love coming to work every day, and should be considered the Vin Scully of Roseau?

No, Shirley Mitterling and Vin Scully, the Hall of Fame announcer for the Los Angeles Dodgers who just retired from the broadcasting booth after 67 years, aren't the same age.

But they're cut from the same cloth - dedicated, delightful, and talented.

Nobody asked Mr. Scully to pull the pin, and nobody at Citizens State Bank (CSB) wants Shirley to call it a career.

The bank doesn't want her to retire just yet, and for a very good reason.
