Stacy Marie Schmidt was born on November 25, 1971. Four years later Stacy's parents, Jerry and Geneva (Jeanie) Schmidt gave her a friend for life, her baby sister Elly May.

Stacy and her family resided in Middle River. Stacy graduated in 1990 from Middle River High School, where she was active in FLA, cheerleading and volleyball. Through her years in Middle River she made many lifelong friendships. Eventually she made her home in Roseau, MN.
