Irene L. Schell, formerly of Pencer, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2016. Irene was born April 16, 1924 in Pencer to Peder and Caroline (Karlstad) Syverson. She grew up in Pencer and married the neighbor boy, Alvin Schell in 1944. They lived on a farm in Pencer until spring of 1972 when they moved to Baudette making their home on Wabanica Bay. Alvin passed away July 11, 1983. Irene moved to Westside Manor in Baudette about four years later. She lived there until she moved to LakeWood Care Center f...
