County Drug court could be a life changer

It was a local Who's Who in the criminal justice system a week ago Friday afternoon in Courtroom One at the Roseau County Courthouse.

Judge Donna Dixon wasn't in her black robe and nobody was wearing orange and sporting handcuffs.

Instead, they were undergoing still another training seminar before the Roseau County Drug Court begins operation this coming spring.

Maria Pahlen, who will serve as the coordinator, noted that a three-day training session at a site yet to be determined in March will be their final session.
