On a recent June morning, a bevy of mostly senior citizens with all of their teeth and rightly proud of graduating from Malung Elementary School when it was a cluster of four buildings spread out like a small village, swapped memories inside the Malung Community Center - the former Malung School that was built in 1965 and closed in 2006.
They sat in a classroom that sparkled as much as their memories.
"We started planning the all-school reunion last August," said Julane Kjaer, noting that Sharon Lund is her co-chair.
Oh, the memories.
Each of the four wooden school buildings had outhouses...
