Roseau's Brian "Ski" Donarski can be described in many ways - one of the walking wounded from his tour of duty in Iraq, a guy who rolls with life's punches, a dedicated volunteer, a sincere patriot, a remarkable inspiration.

Ski is all of the above and more.

When he was medevaced from Iraq in March 2006 following an IED explosion and had suffered serious head, neck, and upper torso injuries, he spent almost 13 months recuperating at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC.
