Roseau - Emma Katherine Shilley passed away on July 25, 2017 at Lifecare Roseau Manor after a short battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving children and her Lifecare Manor family.

Emma was born in Stark, Wisconsin on August 24, 1929 to Clarence Braun and Violet (Thomas) Braun. She married Kenneth Petersen on April 19, 1947 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. They lived in the Mineral,Washington area and had five children: Patricia, Mary, Fred, Irene and Joe.
