Apple Valley - Irene Storey passed away on May 11, 2017 at the Augustana Care Home in Apple Valley.

She was born on June 24, 1921 in Roseau, to Knute and Alma Espeseth. She attended teacher training and taught grades 1-8 in country schools. She married Stanley Storey and they farmed west of Roseau. Irene also worked at the Roseau Hospital in the housekeeping department. After retirement she moved to Apple Valley, and was active in her church, loved flowers, traveling, crafts, and most of all, baking.
