I have struggled with a feature this month, and I've wondered if this should be it. It is unconventional. It would be decided as self-absorbed by many. But I think a story worthy of the front page may just be, who the heck is this chick? Who is Shelly Nelson? Who's this kid who she writes about. It is so unconventional to talk in first person on the front page, but I have never been one to follow the rules.
