Entering the Section 8A Tournament on Thursday, Oct. 12th as the #1 seed, the 10th ranked Class A team in Minnesota, and the defending Section 8A champions, the Rams were full of confidence but also had a target on their back as everyone looked to pull an upset. Roseau played very well from start to finish and was able to gain an advantage over each of their opponents on their way to the 2017 Section 8A Championship.
The Rams opened the tournament with a 7-0 win against Parkers Prairie. Olivia Urness got a chance to play in her first section tournament and won her 4th singles match 6-3, 6-...
