A Heartbreaking Loss for the Knowledge Bowl Team

On Tuesday afternoon, the Roseau High School Knowledge Bowl team exited the Evangelical Free Church in Thief River Falls following a disappointing setback in the Regional Knowledge Bowl competition in which they just missed advancing to the state meet in April by half a point.

There was little consolation for their close finish, which was hard to swallow for the five teammates who know all about "Close but no cigar!"

Just two weeks earlier on February 27, they had won the Sub-Regional competition in Crookston.

It was tough to tell who was taking it harder - the five team members or their coach...
