MSHSL gives thumbs up for the rest of the fall athletes

Roseau High School Principal and Athletic Director Ivan Hirst was very pleased after learning on Monday that the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) had given permission for volleyball and football to resume play this fall.

"I'm really happy that the kids now get to play their sports and can compete in the season that they are typically used to," he said on Monday afternoon.

In normal times, he would have held an assembly in the gymnasium with the band playing the Roseau fight song.

But these aren't normal times.
