Independence, Mo.- Steve William Herling passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 6, 2021. He was 68.

Steve was born to Harry and Edelia Herling on August 17, 1952 in Roseau.

Steve is survived by his wife of 47 years, Alice; daughters, Sarah Herling and Rebecca Goebel (Alex) and grandsons, Marcus and James Goebel.

Steve worked for the agricultural division of Bayer Corporation for 47 years before retiring in 2018.

A memorial visitation took place on Friday, June 11th from 3-5 p.m. at Speaks Suburban Chapel in Independence, Missouri.
