One of my favorite childhood games was Hide and Seek. How many of you have ever played Hide and Seek? Great! I hate to play alone! What a great game: Both the hiding and the seeking (and sometimes the FINDING). Close encounters of the best kind.

The Bible tells us that God desires to have personal encounters of the "Best Kind" with his people. Our God is not a hiding God. Neither is He an impersonal God. Our God, the God of the Bible the God we serve knows our name.

God seeks us out that He may speak to us in a personal way. This is the idea I would like to explore with you this morning:...
