I have become very familiar with the word struggle. In my years growing up I always struggled to read, I was the worst reader in my class and I was so ashamed of that. I struggled to decide if I should tell my dad I wanted to go to hockey rather than see him or if I should suffer the consequences of having divorced parents. I struggled in math in middle school and my reading got better by now. I would focus on one thing and another thing would go wrong, there was just no happy medium.
