In the summer of 2020, I showed up to the ball field for our double header vs. Warroad. As I walked into the dugout of Gilbertson Field, it had just finished raining and the field was in questionable condition. I started wandering around the field to check it out. Luckily, we did play that day, and we were bound to win; that was until the first two innings concluded, and we were losing by a large deficit.
