Pets, the companion not meant to last your whole life

But for you to last all of theirs

Your companion that you spend all day excited to see

And are always sad to see leave

Or more likely that's just me

The friend that may as well be

family

Because they seem to make your problems vanish quite handily

Your friend you change and grow with

Whom even though can be annoying at times

And often makes a mess

Worthy of a tornado's approval,

left alone

And is a bigger one without you,

You are just as big a one without them

Or once again, More likely,

that's just me
