When You See...

While sitting on the porch at the shack up at my dad’s the other day I heard what sounded like the hum of a very large plane off in the distance. The hum turned out to be a huge hornet. It flew in just a few feet from me, grabbed a fly out of midair and left in the direction it came from. Over the next half hour or so it made five more trips grabbing a fly each time. Bees are a lot like people. As long as they are busy all they ask is to be left alone. When one shows up in the boat when miles from shore they are not in a good mood and are trouble almost every time.
