Portland, Ore.- Eunice Janet Monsrud (Petrowski) passed away peacefully on August 25th, 2023. Eunice was born May 24th, 1934 in Roseau, daughter of Stanley and Verna Petrowski. The middle of five children, her early years were spent on the family farm located on the banks of the Roseau River. She and her siblings all helped with the chores in the kitchen, food pantry, vegetable garden, hay and grain fields, and the milk barn, as well as tending to their cattle, pigs and chickens while drawing their water from a hand pumped well.
