Roseau- Irene E. (Knochenmus) Olson, age 96 of Roseau died at Roseau Manor on September 5, 2023. Irene was born September 27, 1926 in Woods Township, Chippewa County the daughter of Rudolph and Luella (Olson) Knochenmus. She was eight years old when she moved with her family to Roseau. Her mother died in 1934 and her father in 1936. She lived with her uncle Frank and aunt Edna Knochenmus until 1941 when she was a sophomore at Roseau High School.
