Brews and Body Slams will be held at Roseau Memorial Arena on October 7 with doors opening at 4 p.m. and wrestling begins at 5 p.m.

The Arena is known for its legendary hockey but for one night it will host wrestling and a craft brewery festival.

Midwest All-Star Wrestling will be serving the body slams and regional craft brewers will be showcasing their beers. Roseau Youth Hockey will be grilling burger baskets along with some other fun.

One of Roseau's very own, Kyle Buley, will be featured taking on Jinn Hallows.

Buley's dream of being a professional wrestler has become more than just a dream this past year.

Buley is a 220-pound muscular professional wrestler who has been training since March 2022 with his coach Ken Anderson, a former WWE and Impact professional wrestler.

Anderson has the knowledge to get him where he wants to be for a successful career.

He has participated in over 20 matches this summer. "I've been very busy!" said Buley.

Buley competed in the Midwest All Star Wrestling (MAW) 2023 Prospect Cup Competition this past June. He took on Jinn Hollows in his first round competition during the Wild Weekend at Willie Walleye Days in Baudette.

Unfortunately, Buley has been eliminated from the Prospect Tournament, but it's not the end of his career.

He will be here October 7 and is looking forward to all the support of his hometown, family and friends.

Imagine having hundreds of people chanting your name or holding up signs showing their support! Go out and show Kyle Buley how loud our town can be while cheering on one of our own! This will be match 26 for Buley.

"I am very excited to have this event taking place at home. My family and friends are all very supportive of me and I am hoping a decent crowd shows up," he mentioned.

"At the show in Roseau, I am wrestling the same dork I wrestled in Baudette, Jinn Hallows. After I am done with him, I got my eyes set on some championship gold!"
