At age 50, Martin "Marty" Howes, the Roseau County Veterans Service Officer for nine plus years, has been on quite a ride.
For the past two years, he has served as the president of the Minnesota County Veterans Service Officers.
He officially stepped down on September 13 at the annual CVSO conference.
From September 10 through September 13, he joined other County Veterans Service Officers for the 78th Annual Fall Conference of the Minnesota Association of County Veterans Service Officers.
