Fontana, Calif.- Born April 26, 1935 to John J. and Anna Sonsteng in Roseau. Alvin passed away May 6, 2023 at the age of 88.

Alvin joined the Navy right out of high school in 1953, he got out of the Navy in 1956. Following family he moved to Fontana, Calif. and met Sandra Lee Freebury and they married June 1959. Alvin worked at San Bernardin0 Valley College as a maintenance supervisor til his retirement.

He was blessed with a long and happy life and loving family, his family was everything to him.
