Cooke City, Montana and Kyle Buley

One of my favorite stops was in Cooke City at Yellowstone Fossils and Minerals.

My love for rocks was fulfilled in this store. I didn't buy any because they were waaaaay out of my price range, but I still enjoyed looking at all of them!

Brian and Kyle decided to head outside to the side of the store and do some mine sluicing.

First, you purchase your bag of dirt and then head outside to the panning sluice to see what you will find. You could purchase a bag that contained fossils, arrowheads, rocks or gemstones.

I may have thought... "Seriously, that is for kids!"
