Ray- Wanda Lea Haney passed peacefully from earth to heaven on Friday, Oct 27, 2023 at home with her children by her side.

Wanda Lea was born to Ellsworth and Beatrice (Long) Patterson on Sept. 24, 1923 in the living quarters of her grandparent's shoe repair shop in Oroville, Wash. She was their seventh child and had the distinction of being the first one born in Washington. Wanda had 6 sisters and 4 brothers.

She grew up in Oroville and as a teenager she began working in the apple packing industry.
