Badger- Arlend John Harder passed away surrounded by family at LifeCare Medical Center on October 20, 2023 in Roseau. 

Arlend was born on May 5, 1932 to John and Meta (Kruse) Harder in Bennington, Neb. He graduated from High School in 1950 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy January 18th, 1952 and was honorably discharged December 19th, 1955. Arlend married Grace Black on October 21, 1952. They lived and farmed near Fort Calhoun, Nebraska, and had five children together; Debby, Steve, Linda, Cherie, and Cindy.
