Wannaska- Jack R. Olson, 71, died at his farm in Malung on Thursday, November 16, 2023. Jack was born March 3, 1952 at the Budd Hospital in Roseau, the son of Joel and Irene (Knochenmus) Olson. They lived on the farm in Malung until 1962. He attended Malung School and when they moved to town he went to school in Roseau, graduating in 1970. After graduation he traveled across Europe for a few years.

Jack was a carpenter and employed at Component Engineering before being employed at Polaris in the snowmobile and personal watercraft groups for 28+ yrs where he has many patents. Jack also...
