Roseau- Lucille O. Skogstad was born on November 4, 1935 to Howard and Iris (Fauver) Hendershot in Beaver Township by Hayes Lake. She grew up attending local country schools and then Roseau High School. Lucille married Willie Skogstad on February 20, 1953 in Roseau. The couple moved to the farm where they raised Dairy Cattle and farmed small grains. Lucille had a strong work ethic and was a major part of the farm operation, even more so when Willie got a job with Roseau County and she was the mainstay on the farm. She was a terrific homemaker and enjoyed gardening, canning, picking blueberries...
