It is woven into the warp and woof of our very being which bears the eternal stamp of the image of God. God never took upon himself an obsession with work. In Genesis 2:3 we read, that he blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done. We don't know how long a "day" lasts in God's mind. It could be twenty-four hours, or a thousand years. The bottom line concerning this for us is don't allow work to replace your worship.
